Frequent Questions

Do I need psychotherapy?

The idea of starting therapy can be daunting for some people. Psychotherapy sessions are an opportunity to feel safe and completely free to talk about what you think is important to you, about what you would like to change or improve in your life.

In the therapeutic approach of our practice, therapy is understood as a process, where you will feel heard, but in which the therapist also participates actively in the conversation. It is a process in which you can be encouraged to look at things in a different way or to learn new ways of reacting to past and present situations/ emotions.

In terms of duration of therapy, it will depend on the goals you want to achieve, and what are your needs. Ultimately, the main goal of the therapist is to help you contact with your own creativity and identify your internal resources in order to feel better about herself and in the relationships with people significant to you. Psychotherapy can help you feel more capable and free to make your own choices.
